Finding The Right Fat Loss Program
|
Dieting and exercising can be confusing. To simplify things, you need a fat loss program that's right for you that you find
easy to follow so that you are more likely to stick to it and reach your fat
loss goals.
Studies have shown that obesity can lead to hypertension, heart
problems, sleep apnea and diabetes. It can cause difficulty running and
moving or even sitting comfortably. The more weight you put on, the more
difficult it is to exercise and lose weight.
To find the right program you
must determine the reason you are overweight. If the reason is a medical
reason beyond your control you must consult your doctor to discuss your
weight loss options.
The most common reason for being overweight is eating more calories than you
burn off working out. But if you have been eating healthy and turning down
junk food but still can not lose weight even though you have been working
out regularly, you need to follow a better fat loss program. Eating healthy
food means adopting a balanced diet that allows you to get all of the
vitamins and minerals that you need. It is not only important to eat healthy
food, it is important to eat a variety of healthy food.
Your adiet must be
rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, low-fat dairy products and whole
grains. You need protein from lean meats, fish, or soy products. Read the
label on the foods you eat carefully and keep track of what you are eating,
not just if you are dieting but everyday. Plan out your meals for the entire
day in the morning and then stick to the plan. If you are not able to get
the nutrients you need from the food you eat, consider taking a multi
vitamin.
Also keep track of what you are drinking. Beer, soda, and even some fruit
juices can add fat to your body and still leave you hungry. Tea may be
healthy for you but pay attention to how much sugar and cream you put in
your tea or coffee. The best thing you can drink is of course water. It has
no calories and drinking eight to ten glasses a day is good for your body
and your skin.
You must eat healthy food and drink plenty of water to give you the energy
you need to workout to burn fat off your body. Plan your workout before you
go to the gym and seek advice from your doctor or a personal trainer to
understand what type of exercise is best for your body and how often to do
it. Exercise not only helps you burn calories, it also helps your immune
system and relieves stress and since stress can add weight to your body or
make you snack more it is easy to understand why exercise must be apart of
any fat loss program.
