Are There Really Foods that Burn Fat?

 

You should never have to starve yourself to lose weight, especially since there is foods that burn fat. Most of these foods are commonly found and are probably available at your local grocery store. These negative calorie foods actually burn fatter than they contain and are classified into three different groups; the citrus group, cellulose rich fruits and vegetables group, and the dairy group.

The citrus group consists of lemons, limes, tangerines, grapefruit, oranges, and kiwi. The cellulose rich group includes cabbage, asparagus, beetroot, broccoli, blueberries, apples, and watermelon. And in the dairy group, you can find non fat milk, white cheese and low fat yogurt. It has been clinically proven that calcium rich dairy foods breakdown the fat in fat cells to help you lose weight. Of course there are other foods you can eat that will also help you burn fat.

Stick to foods that are rich in protein and low in carbohydrates with a low glycemic index such as eggs, turkey, fish, red meat, ostrich, and chicken which are all foods that burn fat. Eat lean cuts of meat or chicken without the skin to cut back on your fat intake. Do not be afraid to try soy products like tofu or soymilk. They come in different flavors and textures and contain more vitamins and minerals and way less fat and carbohydrates than most meat products. Tofu dogs taste similar to hot dogs but are actually healthy for you to eat.

Raw vegetables are lower in carbohydrates and fat and they are very much higher in minerals, vitamins, anti oxidants and fiber than when they are cooked. Salad is rich in fibers and low in calories (only 14 KCAL per 100 grams) and is one of the best foods that helps bun fat. Raw vegetables are full of minerals and help your diuretic functions. Onions, for example, are rich in Vitamins A, C, E, and B and Potassium, Calcium, and Sodium. Onions help keep blood sugars stable and fight cellulite. Raw fruits with sweeten your food even though they are low in sugars. Bananas have Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Tannin, Serotonin and Vitamins A and C with only 66 Kcal per 100 grams and Strawberries are full of Vitamin C with only 27 KCAL per 100 grams. Add them to cereals that help your metabolism such as Corn Flakes.

What you add to your food is very important. Cinnamon helps reduce the blood sugar levels in the body and can often help you reduce weight. Garlic adds flavor to your food but it also contains enzymes and amino acids. It is full of Vitamins A,B1,B2,B6,B12,C,D and minerals and it helps boosts your metabolism while it keeps your cholesterol levels low.

Starving yourself to lose weight will cause your body severe harm and eating a diet of bland foods is difficult to maintain. Eat a variety of foods that burn fat to help you lose weight and keep your body healthy.
