How To Lose Body Fat

Your metabolism will be optimized with a calorie reduction of 15 to 20 percent a day. So, if you currently take in 3000 calories, reduce that to around 2500 by making simple changes to your diet.

Many people find that their weight-loss program goes along quite well for a few weeks, only to be followed a period of stubborn weight maintenance or even gain. Controlling carbohydrate intake is another good way to maintain a healthy weight. Unless you are doing late-night weight training, avoid late-night carbs in particular, because these tend to be stored as body fat. Choose increased protein and alternate carb-heavy meals with ones that emphasize fat and protein. Increase the amounts of high-fiber vegetables in your snacking.

These omega-3 fatty acids are found in such delicious foods as salmon, sardines, trout and mackerel, and medical studies show they increase weight loss when eaten several times a week. Mexican and Indian foods have the same effect.
