Hoodia or Fat Loss Pills

If you are considering trying fat loss pills to help you lose extra pounds, it is important to become fully informed about them before you can decide if there is one that is right for you. You must know if it has any side effects, both short and long-term, and if you can take it in combination with other drugs or prescription medications. Hoodia Gordini is a relatively new fat loss pill that suppresses your appetite when you take it.

Hoodia Gordini naturally occurs in plants and is put into Hoodia fat loss pills. In clinical studies, volunteers who took between 750mg and 1500mg of Hoodia regularly were eventually eating 1,000 calories less per day. Hoodia was also tested on animals causing the animals that were given Hoodia to eat as much as forty percent less. According to the manufactures of Hoodia weight loss pills, eating 1,000 less calories per day will cause the average person to lose about two pounds a week.

So far Hoodia has not demonstrated any harmful side effects. No consumer in America who has taken Hoodia has reported any dangerous side effects from taking it. However, Hoodia is still relatively new in comparison to other fat loss pills and appetite suppressants and there has not yet been studies done to determine whether or not it could have possible side effects on a long term basis. At this time there has not been enough clinical trials administered to know what potential side effects Hoodia Gordini may have on pregnant women as it may be dangerous for them to take any appetite suppressant while pregnant, or on young obese children who need to lose weight to be healthy. There have also not been enough studies done to see if anyone with chronic liver, kidney, or heart conditions. It is important to consult your doctor before you decide to start using Hoodia or any other appetite suppressants. Also be warned that there are many brands of diet pills so examine the package and ingredients very carefully to make sure you are getting the pills you want.

Even though Hoodia occurs naturally and has so far been proven safe, it is important to not misuse or abuse it. Taking more than the recommended dose of any appetite suppressant can cause serious damage to your body. You must consider the fact that if your body is taking in less food; you may be getting fewer nutrients. Make sure to keep a well-balanced diet and daily exercise routine no matter what fat loss pills you are considering.
